An investigation has been opened into the death in Gaeta of Sabrina Nardella, 38, who died after cosmetic surgery in a private clinic in Caserta, already in the spotlight for two other cases.

Pain and dismay in the town on the Pontine coast where the woman, a hairdresser and mother of two children, was well known.

Immediately after the operation, a routine day hospital procedure, Sabrina felt unwell . Unfortunately, attempts to revive her were unsuccessful.

And now the Public Prosecutor's Office of Santa Maria Capua Vetere wants to see clearly and has ordered an autopsy to determine whether mistakes were made or whether there was negligence . The clinic where the 38-year-old was operated on has already been in the spotlight for two other cases relating to other judicial matters related to aesthetic medicine .

Mayor Cristian Leccese is the spokesperson for the deep grief of the Gaeta community . "This morning - he explains - we woke up to the news of a huge tragedy. A young woman from Gaeta has left us, a sweet person, highly esteemed, an excellent mother. Sabrina was very well known in our city, where she worked as a hairdresser in the city center. Her sudden death, the circumstances of which will be clarified, which occurred at a private clinic, does not fail to arouse sadness and grief in our community . My thoughts go to her family, to her two children, to whom I hold in a brotherly embrace. My heartfelt condolences to them and in this difficult moment all my closeness".
