According to the Rome investigating judge , there is "reticence" and "lack of credibility" in some passages of the interrogation given last Thursday by Pellegrino D'Avino and Antonio Passariello, two of those arrested for the attack on Sigfrido Ranucci, considered among the material perpetrators of the bombing.

This was reported by defense legal sources, who had filed a request for a reduction in the sentence for their two clients in recent days.

In particular, it is reported, the investigating judge does not consider two passages of the interrogation given by the arrested men to be reliable: the first concerns the method of procurement of the device. Furthermore, the fact that the two were unaware of the internal composition of the device is not considered credible. Therefore, precautionary measures remain necessary, especially in light of the aggravating circumstance of the mafia methods with which the two suspects are accused.
