The prefect of Biella, Silvana d'Agostino, has revoked the license to carry weapons for personal defense from Emanuele Pozzolo, under investigation for the New Year's Eve shooting.

The provision, which also prohibits the parliamentarian from "holding weapons and ammunition", was decided - explains a note from the Prefecture - "due to the careless behavior carried out by Pozzolo during the New Year's Eve celebrations, characterized by light-heartedness and underestimation of the danger of weapons."

Pozzolo "was accused of inappropriate use of the weapon, since he did not adopt all the necessary precautions to avoid even accidental events and involuntary accidents".
