13 searches are also underway: among the charges is that of association for the purpose of terrorismState Police operation across the country against a supremacist and neo-Nazi group dubbed "Werwolf Division", also active on the Telegram network. In these hours the agents are executing 12 precautionary measures in prison, issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Bologna, at the request of the local Public Prosecutor's Office. At the same time, 13 other house searches are underway for a total of 25 overall in Bologna, Bari, Brindisi, Lecco, Milan, Monza Brianza, Modena, Palermo, Pesaro Urbino, Pescara, Pordenone, Ravenna, Rome, Teramo, Trieste, Vercelli and Vicenza
The charges leveled against the members of the group are association for the purpose of terrorism, propaganda and incitement to crime for reasons of racial, ethnic and religious discrimination and illegal possession of a firearm . The operation is coordinated by the National Anti-Mafia and Anti-Terrorism Directorate and the Central Directorate of the Prevention Police.
The 25 suspects, some of whom had already been searched by the Digos of Bologna and Naples in May 2023, are aged between 19 and 76. The association was later renamed "Divisione Nuova Alba": it aimed to overthrow the current system for the establishment of an ethical and authoritarian state centered on the "Aryan race" also with the plan of violent actions against high officials of the institutions .
The investigation stems from the confirmed contacts between some of the organization's leaders with the leaders of another subversive association of a negationist and supremacist nature called "Ordine di Hagal", active on the national territory and dismantled at the end of 2022 by the Digos of Naples. It has been reconstructed that the group carried out its propaganda and recruitment activity both through dedicated groups on Telegram and with in-person meetings and leaflet distributions carried out in the Bologna area .
