Palermo, man stabbed to death after a dispute with neighbors: another person barricaded himself in his home.
Building evacuated due to gas leak; victim is a 68-year-old man

A 68-year-old man was stabbed to death in a building on Via Sampolo in Palermo , apparently after an argument that arose over trivial matters.
Firefighters who responded to the second floor of the building found a gas leak. A man was reportedly barricaded in the home, possibly one of the people involved in the dispute. Firefighters are evacuating the building while they investigate the situation.
The investigation is being conducted by the Carabinieri. Via Sampolo has been closed. The bomb squad is also present.
