A new month with a "summer" flavor has begun, with temperatures continuing to be well above average. Even in Sardinia where the columns will even reach 27 degrees, especially in the Oristano area.

"In some areas of Italy - explains Mattia Gussoni, meteorologist of the site www.iLMeteo.it, - it will still seem like summer, especially in the mountains and in the Center-South. From Sunday there will be slight eastern disturbances, with less hot and less humid east winds, the maximums will drop by 2-3 degrees, but we will also have less fog in the Po Valley and less smog and the sun will still prevail . At least until Wednesday 6 November then the African anticyclone will dominate almost unchallenged , guaranteeing largely stable and predominantly sunny weather in most regions. In the next few hours then the maximums will always be summer-like : in Oristano we will reach 27 ° C, in Agrigento and Catania around 26 ° C, then also notable 23-24 ° C in Latina, Naples and Rome. The sun will accompany almost all Italians during the All Saints' Day long weekend: the only thing to watch out for are the last bits of fog that may persist in the Po Valley and some cloud cover over the major islands."

As mentioned, winds from the east (weak but continuous) will bring a slight drop in maximum temperatures from Sunday onwards: next week will always be sunny and pleasant, but with afternoon temperatures between 20 and 23°C in the Centre-South; in the North, maximum temperatures will drop to around 13-15°C, abandoning the 20°C of the last few days. We will still be above the average for the period.

From Thursday 7 November, however, something could change: the cooler eastern currents, in contact with the Mediterranean Sea, still warm for the season, could gradually favor the formation of a low pressure on the southern Tyrrhenian Sea capable of spoiling the weather a little in the South.
