Brutal murder at dawn today in Misano Adriatico, in the province of Rimini.
A man was killed with a blunt instrument, probably a wooden club or an iron bar, by a citizen of foreign origin residing in Romagna for years, arrested by the carabinieri of Riccione.
The attack took place near the Misano Adriatico treatment plant.
The victim is a 51-year-old native of the province of Potenza, residing in a house granted for use in the municipal area.
It was the neighbors who called the carabinieri, frightened by the screams of two people. A foreigner residing in the area was immediately arrested and interrogated. According to investigators, the crime was not committed in the context of a robbery.
