Four years and 5 months, plus a fine of 1,624 euros. It is the penalty inflicted on a 43-year-old of Sardinian origin, arrested in Livorno by the Flying Squad, after having made himself responsible over the last few years for numerous thefts and other crimes against property, starting with receiving stolen goods.

The last one, as reported by the local Tuscan press, had the Livorno church of San Benedetto, in Piazza XX Settembre, where the man was caught stealing the offerings.

After yet another sentence, the judge decided to make him serve all the previous "heap" in the cell.

For him, therefore, the doors of the Sughere prison have opened.
