He entered the hospital armed with a knife in search of Matias' dad.

The uncle of the ten-year-old boy killed by his father in recent days in Vetralla, in the Viterbo area, was denounced by the carabinieri for illegal carrying of a weapon.

The man wanted to make himself justice for the tragic death of his grandson. He entered the hospital with a hidden knife: “Tell me where Mirko is”, he told the doctors in an attempt to reach the killer, still hospitalized in the prison ward of the hospital and under arrest.

The hospital raised the alarm and the military arrived on the scene and blocked it. The man, in a state of shock, was then hospitalized.

A terrible story that shocked the whole country that took place last November 16 in Vetralla. Mirko Tonkov, a 44-year-old Pole subject to a ban on approaching his family, left the hospital where he was hospitalized for Covid and went to the house where his little son lived with his mother.

At home there was only Matias, his mother was at work, he killed him with a stab in the throat. The man had been violent with both his son and the woman, a 35-year-old who reported him. She was very frightened, so much so that she advised her son not to open the door to anyone, including dad. But that afternoon little Matias opened the door to his father and went to his death.
