A policeman inflated balloons and gave them to migrant children waiting at the port of Lampedusa to board the ferry to Porto Empedocle.

Three hundred people, mostly mothers with small children, departing from Lampedusa. To pass the time, with a gesture of affection the policeman who, together with his colleagues, escorted the group of migrants entertained the little ones, inflating and giving them balloons. The image did not go unnoticed and was emotional.

This is a policeman "accustomed" to dealing with the transfers of migrants from the Favarolo dock to the hotspot and from the Imbriacola district to the port.

Also stopping to talk with the migrants and getting close to the children was the metropolitan bishop of Agrigento , Monsignor Alessandro Damiano, who arrived on the island with the caravan of children who will take part in the Giovaninfesta.
