The Milanese journalist Pier Attilio ("Pat") Trivulzio was found dead in his home in Novara. The death, from the first investigations, dates back to about 7 months ago. The body was now mummified.

The 83-year-old professional lived in the Sant'Agabio district and had no relatives or friends in the city, while in Lombardy he was well known.

Also passionate about motoring, he had a past as a driver and was at home at the Monza racetrack.

According to some acquaintances, his free-lance activity, despite the amount of services he managed to produce and get published, had practically condemned him to a chronic shortage of money. In Novara, after so much precariousness, he had found a roof and a refuge, but he had had to leave his friendships in Lombardy.

Death would come from natural causes.
