Dozens of calls to the fire brigade during the night in Genoa , where 10 elderly residents of a nursing home were displaced and taken to hospital as a precaution .

In western Liguria , where the orange alert is in force, the bad weather brought several landslides and mudslides during the night and in the early hours of today with several homes left isolated. The Aurelia at Capo Noli in the Savona area was also interrupted due to a landslide.
