The eighth victim of Ischia has been recovered: it is Michele Monti, 15 years old. The little brothers also died in the landslide

The sun shines again in Ischia, but it illuminates an island devastated by the wave of mud and debris that hit Casamicciola .

Another body was found this morning: it belongs to Michele Monti, 15, the brother of Francesco and Maria Teresa, aged 11 and 6, whose bodies were found yesterday. They are still looking for their parents, Gianluca Monti and Valentina Castagna.

Yesterday an entire family was also recovered - Maurizio Scotto di Minico, his wife Giovanna Mazzella and the couple's son GiovanGiuseppe just 22 days old - and a woman of Bulgarian nationality, Nikolina Gancheva Blangova 58 years old. They add to the only victim identified on Saturday, Eleonora Sirabella, 31, for a total of eight confirmed deaths . The searches continue   comrade Salvatore Impagliazzo .

For the approximately 230 displaced people, accommodation was found in hotels or in relatives' homes. The injured should be five while the homes affected increase from fifteen to thirty.

Meanwhile, the Council of Ministers, meeting in an extraordinary session, declared a state of emergency - which lasted one year - and made an initial allocation of 2 million euros, in addition to the extension of the deadlines for contributions and taxes which will start for residents and entrepreneurs until in December. The government has also appointed a commissioner: Simonetta Calcaterra.

We cannot forget what happened and for this reason the Minister for the South Nello Musumeci recalled the need to adopt a prevention plan for the smaller islands . The Campania governor Vincenzo De Luca also arrived on the island - with the head of the national civil protection department, Fabrizio Curcio -: " We have to demolish - he said - a series of illegal constructions , those built on riverbeds, on geologically inappropriate, in areas of absolute environmental constraint, those built by the Camorra".

Meanwhile, the Public Prosecutor of Naples has opened a file against unknown persons: the hypothesis of a crime is a culpable disaster.
