West Nile virus: Another death in Lazio
The victim is a 77-year-old man, who died at the Spallanzani hospital.

Another victim—the second—from West Nile in Lazio. A 77-year-old man died at dawn this morning at the Spallanzani Institute in Rome.
According to reports, the man had chronic conditions and had undergone a heart transplant. Initial information suggests he lived in the province of Latina and had recently been staying in Baia Domizia, in the province of Caserta.
Three days ago, in the last update on infections, 28 people had tested positive for the virus in the entire Lazio region.
