The agents of the Central Operations Service of the Central Anti-Crime Directorate of the State Police, the Flying Squad and the SISCO of Milan are executing dozens of precautionary measures and search warrants against people investigated in various capacities for criminal association, with the aggravating circumstance of the mafia method, extortion, assault and other serious crimes.
The suspects are almost all linked to the ultras fans of Inter and Milan and the crimes connected to the business turnover linked to the football context.
Among the ultras involved in the maxi blitz are one of the Inter ultra leaders, Marco Ferdico, very close to Antonio Bellocco, the 'ndrangheta killed on September 4 by Andrea Beretta, also at the top of the Nerazzurri curve and in prison for murder. And then Luca Lucci, leader of the Milan ultras, already convicted of drugs and known because he was photographed in 2018 with the then deputy prime minister Matteo Salvini at the party for the 50th anniversary of the Curva Sud. Plus also Christian Rosiello, known as Fedez's bodyguard because he was involved in the alleged beating of Cristiano Iovino.
Among the alleged trafficking in the world of the curves, which the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office has been investigating for some time, there is also the management of the business of the San Siro stadium, from parking to the sale of gadgets and sandwiches, up to that of match tickets.
The investigations by prosecutors Paolo Storari and Sara Ombra also revealed cases of extortion and requests for "pizzo" against street vendors selling sandwiches and food outside the Meazza, in addition to a series of beatings and so-called "stadium crimes" .
Nineteen precautionary measures, 16 in prison and three under house arrest . The crimes contested are criminal association with the aggravating circumstance of mafia, extortion, false declarations or attestations in documents intended for the judicial authority, possession and production of false identification documents, unauthorized access to computer systems, injuries, beatings, brawl and resistance to a public official.
As explained by the Milan prosecutor Marcello Viola in a note, it is "a complex investigation" by the Milan DDA "which brought together various investigative lines conducted by several branches of the State Police, as well as by the Gico of Milan and the Scico of the Gdf". Together with "the execution of the precautionary measures, dozens of searches were delegated and carried out against additional suspects". Furthermore, the Anti-Crime Division of the Milan Police Headquarters "applied to several different individuals access bans to places where sporting events take place", i.e. Daspos, or "in any case started the related procedure against numerous other people". The investigations have allowed, according to the prosecution, "to ascertain the existence of criminal infiltration among the ultras and have involved the main exponents of the so-called 'managers' of the organized fan groups of the two main Milanese football teams".
