Holy Week marked by bad weather, especially in Sardinia and the Tyrrhenian area, as well as in Piedmont, Liguria, Lombardy and Tuscany.
A series of Atlantic disturbances will hit Italy hard, as explained by Antonio Sanò, founder of the website ilmeteo.it, who reports a cold front coming from the North Atlantic that will bring heavy rains. As often happens in spring, explains Sanò, «there will be moments of sunshine and sudden showers».
Today the first rains, while on Tuesday 15 the weather will be widely unstable in the North and there will be showers in the Tyrrhenian area and Sardinia. On Wednesday 16 the weather will worsen in the Northwest and will be highly unstable in Sardinia and the Tyrrhenian side. Sunny weather, however, in the South.
