Helicopter crashes on the A9 junction, two injured

Two people were injured after the helicopter on which they were traveling, an EC 120B, crashed on the access ramp of the A9 Autostrada dei Laghi, at the Fino Mornasco exit, in the province of Como.

The 78-year-old and the 30-year-old were rescued and transported to hospital in yellow code, they are not in danger of life.

The incident occurred yesterday afternoon and the National Flight Safety Agency (ANSV) launched a safety investigation into the case.
