Heart attack on the pitch, a young player dies

Tragedy yesterday afternoon in the Mantua area. While an amateur football match was in progress on the Casalpoglio field, a fraction of Castel Goffredo, a player fell ill and collapsed unconscious.

Rescue was immediate: his sister, president of the Quingentole team, used defibrillators and the doctors then gave the 27-year-old a long heart massage. In serious condition, he was transported by helicopter to the San Raffaele hospital in Milan, but died shortly after. He probably suffered a heart attack that left him no way out.

Just a few days ago he announced that he would become a father in September.
