He stabs his father and a friend to death then escapes into the woods: a manhunt in the Cuneo area

He stabbed his father to death, then shot a friend, who died on the way to the hospital, and then fled into the woods. Now the carabinieri are hunting him, with personnel on the ground and in a helicopter. It happens in Montaldo di Mondovì, in the province of Cuneo.

According to what has been learned, the murderer is a 21-year-old young man of Dutch origin with mental problems. For some days he had been a guest with the father of a family of friends, compatriots, who live in Montaldo. The second victim was one of them.

The wanted man is 1.75m tall, wearing a t-shirt and shorts. He would have headed towards the woods of the village of Val Corsaglia, in the Monregalese valleys.
