He had not resigned himself at the end of the relationship and eight months later he still continued to haunt her. Anna Borsa, 30, was afraid but did not report her ex, the 40-year-old Alfredo Erra, who yesterday entered the shop where she worked as a hairdresser and shot her in the head, leaving her no way out.

Yet another femicide took place in Pontecagnano Faiano, in the province of Salerno. In the attack, Anna's current partner was also injured, hospitalized but not in danger of life: he had rushed to the scene as soon as he heard the shots.

The murderer escaped, and after a few hours he was blocked in a service area of the A2, the Autostrada del Mediterraneo. He attempted suicide immediately, aiming the same gun at himself, but only managed to injure himself. So he placed the weapon next to Anna's lifeless body and fled, now he is pinatonato in the hospital, accused of premeditated murder, attempted murder and abusive carrying of a firearm.

The crime, we said, took place in the salon in the center: "She was afraid, Anna was thoughtful", said Simona Cataldo, one of the last customers to have gone to the shop before the tragedy. "Anna - explains Simona - didn't want to go to work anymore. She told me she wanted to leave Salerno".

After a long relationship, they had broken up with the ex-boyfriend for about eight months. He continued to post messages of regret and above all jealousy for the new relationship started by Anna on social networks. It also seems that Alfredo Erra continued to approach the shop where she worked as a hairdresser. It is not clear whether there were any episodes of violence or threats that could foreshadow what happened yesterday.

According to some witnesses, the man had first entered the shop asking Anna to come out to talk to her. The young woman replied that she could not leave her job: Erra then left to return shortly afterwards, armed, and carry out his mission.

Paola Campione, Anna's colleague, recounts the scene she witnessed: "Alfredo was all dressed in black, with a black jumpsuit. He was calm, as always. He asked Anna out because he had to tell her something. Anna was afraid. I told her she couldn't go on like this. He didn't accept the end of their relationship. "

Pain and emotion in the city, where last night there was also a torchlight procession for Anna.

Hundreds of insults appeared on Alfredo Erra's Facebook profile: “Assassin”, “bastard”. On his social profile, the 40-year-old had been railing against the young woman for some time, without mentioning her, but the references to their story that ended last July were evident. There were those among his contacts who urged him to look ahead and forget about it.

Today hundreds of comments crowd his bulletin board and label him as a "murderer".
