Hammer his wife in the head: he believes her dead and commits suicide, but she survives

At the height of an argument with his wife, he repeatedly hit her with a hammer in the head .

Then, believing her dead, he fled and committed suicide. The drama took place this morning in the Santa Maria area in Filottrano, in the Ancona area.

But it was not a murder-suicide, because the woman luckily survived . The 50-year-old, Moldovan like him, has sustained serious injuries but is not in danger of life.

The man, 52, was the subject of an open hunt by the local carabinieri, coordinated by the Osimo Company. The military wanted to arrest him for attempted murder but found him lifeless . He hanged himself in the shed where he worked.

She, wounded and bleeding , after getting up, found the strength to ask for help and alert the police. She was transported by helicopter to the Torrette hospital in Ancona.
