Hard vent of Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito after the early release of Rudy Guede, the only one convicted of the murder of Meredith Kercher in Perugia for which the American girl and the young man from Bari were acquitted after spending some time in prison.

"Guede - writes Amanda - possesses enormous power to heal the wounds of others damaged by his actions. He can tell the truth, take responsibility and stop blaming you for the rape and murder of Meredith Kercher, which a lot of evidence shows he committed alone".

A gesture that the girl considers right both for the victim's family and for her and Sollecito, in order to “put an end to the murky speculations on the case and restore my reputation, damaged along with that of Raffaele”.

Amanda also says she is ready to forgive Guede: “If only he showed real remorse I would applaud him, I would wish him well. People change, has Rudy changed? They say that the truth makes you free, today he is free but he has yet to tell the truth ”.

Sollecito also commented on Guede's release: “There remains the bitterness that he never repented. I don't argue about the penalty because that was the sentence and we all respect the law. The bitterness remains above all for me, who because of his lies I was risking to serve a sentence for something that I never dreamed of thinking ".
