Free transport in the capital ?

For the mayor Roberto Gualtieri it is not an impossible task to do in Rome what has already been achieved in Germany and Spain.

"I think - said the mayor at the PSI congress - that it is possible to find resources to do what Germany and Spain are doing and to make a strong investment to have the free or almost free public transport , trains, buses. during the autumn, when there will be schools that reopen, to give concrete help to workers, to people with the lowest incomes, and a contribution is made to the fight for climate change ".

In Germany with a 9 euro ticket for the three summer months you can get on any local public transport present on the national territory, with the exception of high speed only.
