Two shots from a .22 caliber pistol fired at point-blank range in the face at the height of an argument. This is how a 42-year-old man, Roberto Guerrisi, was killed this afternoon: the murder in the parking lot of a company on the outskirts of Pontirolo Nuovo, in the Lower Bergamo area, which deals with car resale and rental. The murdered man lived in Boltiere, a town bordering Pontirolo.
It was just after 2:30 p.m. when gunshots were heard on Via Bergamo, the stretch of the former state road 525 Milan-Bergamo that passes through the hamlet of Fornasotto. Shortly afterward, the forty-two-year-old was seen staggering near a bus shelter, where he collapsed to the ground with a bloody face. A family member of the forty-two-year-old who was in the area intervened to perform cardiac massage, but every attempt to revive him was in vain.
Even the 118 personnel, who arrived with a medical car and an ambulance, could only confirm his death. The Carabinieri of the Treviglio company are working to reconstruct the incident and trace the perpetrator of the crime: it all started with an argument in the nearby warehouse of the car rental company. According to witnesses, 6 or 7 people began to argue heatedly, until the gun was pulled out with which the forty-two-year-old was killed.
At that point the man, although seriously injured, tried to escape outside the company: after crossing the courtyard, he collapsed on the asphalt of the former state road, about twenty meters away from the warehouse where he had been injured a few moments before. In the few meters he had traveled, traces of blood remained on the asphalt.
