Feeling Sick at Grandparents', 14-Year-Old Dies of Drug Poisoning: He Had Spent the Evening with Friends

The 14-year-old from Bricherasio, in the Turin area, who died last Friday at the Giovanni Bosco hospital in Turin, was reportedly struck down by drug poisoning.

The autopsy revealed that the cause of death, respiratory failure, would be compatible with drug intoxication. The Ivrea Prosecutor's Office is investigating the death.

Toxicology tests were also requested to understand what drugs he had taken. The boy had been taken to the hospital after feeling unwell at his maternal grandparents' house in Settimo Torinese, where he had gone after spending the evening with some friends .

Only the following morning did the alarm go off: the rush to the hospital was not enough to save his life.
