According to reports, the funeral of Umberto Bossi, the founder of the League who died yesterday at the age of 84 in the hospital in Varese, will be held in Pontida .
The ceremony will be at 2 pm at the Abbey of San Giacomo Maggiore.
Pontida is the symbolic place of the League: on that large lawn which every year hosts the party's most important celebration, a crowd is expected for the founder of the Carroccio .
Meanwhile, the procession has already begun at Umberto Bossi's villa in Gemonio, in the Varese area.
The decision to hold the funeral in Pontida was taken by the family "to share the final passage with the people of Padania and the great family of the League" .
