Farewell to Maria Rita Parsi : the psychologist and psychotherapist died at 78.
Born in Rome on August 5, 1947 , she dedicated her entire life to the study and defense of children's rights.
President of the Fondazione Movimento Bambino Onlus, she was a member of the National Observatory for Childhood and Adolescence and was a member of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child .
She has participated in numerous television programs as an expert in her disciplines : in 1986 she took care of the script for the television series Professione vacanze whose protagonist, Jerry Calà, had previously been her patient.
Since 2020, she has been an expert member of the Observatory at the Department for Family Policies and, since 2021, she has participated in the working group of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies dedicated to the Child Guarantee, a European initiative against poverty and social exclusion among young people.
