False blind for 15 years: stuck by the "looks" on the phone

For 15 years she pretended to be blind, illegally collecting the pension relating to her disability during the same period.

This is the story discovered by the Carabinieri of the Gioia Tauro Company, who reported the false blind woman, who is 48 years old, in a state of freedom to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Palmi on charges of aggravated and continued fraud.

In the related investigation resulting from the complaint presented by the military , the two doctors are investigated who, in different circumstances, would have certified the invalidity of the woman who was found to be untruthful .

For the two professionals, the crimes of complicity in aggravated fraud and false material committed by public officials in public deed are hypothesized.

During the investigation, the Carabinieri tailed the false blind person, filming her using her cell phone and adopting behaviors that would have been impossible for her if she had actually been deprived of sight.

The sum that the woman allegedly received illicitly from the INPS thanks to her false invalidity amounts, according to what the carabinieri have ascertained, to around 208 thousand euros.
