Dozens of cell phones stolen in a few months: the notorious red-haired thief stopped

She is twenty-seven years old, as many as the cell phones she would have stolen in recent months, revealing herself to be a real serial thief specialized, in fact, in the raiding of smartphones.

The young woman, who worked in the shops of Palermo, was tracked down and detained by the State Police.

During the investigations, taken after the first reports of the "disappearance" of the devices, the agents reconstructed the dynamics of an impressive number of "hits", always struck with the same technique starting from 23 April last.

The "hunting ground" of the young woman were bakeries, jewelers, supermarkets, both in the center and in the suburbs. Here the 27-year-old, revealing a particular dexterity, cleaned customers and staff not only of smartphones, but also of tablets, bags and wallets.

The investigators set out on his trail thanks to a precise identikit, obtained from the testimonies, and thanks to the images of the video surveillance cameras.

To frame her, also two particular signs: red hair and a tattoo on her hand.
