Doctors and health workers not vaccinated but at work: the Nas blitz also in Sardinia

New flurry of checks by the Nas of the carabinieri on compliance with the vaccination obligation by those who exercise the health professions and health professionals.

The military have acted, in agreement with the Ministry of Health, to identify professionals, both in the public sphere and in the freelance regime in private offices and clinics, who continue to exercise their activity despite lack of anti-Covid vaccination. .

Up to now about 4,900 different situations have been verified among doctors, dentists, pharmacists, veterinarians, nurses, physiotherapists and other figures: 281 irregular ones.

In particular, 126 performed services albeit already recipients of the suspension measure from the professional order upon notification of the health authority (Asl, Asp, Ats, etc.), continuing to carry out the freelance profession in their own medical offices or clinics, or also within wards in public hospitals and private clinics. Conduct that lead to the complaint for abusive exercise of the health profession.

In the context of the latest checks, 8 family doctors were also identified in Sardinia, Abruzzo, Campania and Lazio who have never undergone vaccination. As in the case of a general practitioner, with a practice in the province of Cagliari, already officially suspended from employment and from the professional order due to lack of vaccination, who was surprised while continuing to carry out the activity. It is a 50-year-old doctor from Cagliari who has been denounced.
