The Milan economic-financial police unit is acquiring the papers collected by the Antitrust on the Ferragni-Balocco pandori affair , as part of the exploratory investigation coordinated by the Milan deputy prosecutor Eugenio Fusco.

For the investigation the competition authority (which imposed a maximum fine of over one million euros) has collected a lot of material and consequently the acquisition by the Gdf will take several days. All the documentation, which makes up a substantial file, will then be examined by the Fiamme Gialle. At the moment the investigation is against unknown persons and without any crime.

The Prato Prosecutor's Office has also opened a file on the case without any hypothesis of crime and without suspects. An act due following the complaint that Codacons presented to the judicial authorities in the various Italian cities.

Complaint in which the association hypothesizes the crime of aggravated fraud to the detriment of consumers. According to Codacons, they were led to believe that «by purchasing the Pandoro Pink Christmas, consumers would have contributed to the donation» to the Regina Margherita hospital in Turin «in reality already made by Balocco alone» and that «by purchasing the pandoro they could contribute to the donation and that Mrs Ferragni participated directly in the donation, circumstances which were found to be untrue".
