The Carabinieri of the Parma RIS returned to the Traversetolo villa in the late morning for new excavations and further investigations . They returned to dig in the garden where the bodies of two newborns were found on August 9 and then a month later. It is not clear what they are looking for. The investigators and the lawyer of the family of the girl investigated for murder, Nicola Tria, are present.

Meanwhile, further details are emerging about what happened last August: "I did it all by myself, I gave birth to the baby without anyone's help," Chiara, the newborn's 22-year-old mother, told the police. According to the reconstruction, on August 7, after managing to induce labor, the student gave birth to the baby in the bathroom at home, without anyone hearing her. Then she went out with her friends and only once she returned did she bury the baby in the garden of the house where she lives with her family . Two days later she left for vacation in New York.

The girl and her family, parents and a younger brother, have been missing for days while the small town in the Parma area is invaded by the press and onlookers.

There are still many details to be clarified. First of all, how the baby was killed; the first tests have established that the little one breathed, therefore he was born alive . Then there is the mystery surrounding the remains of the second little body, found later but dating back to at least a year ago . The shadow of a double infanticide weighs on the 22-year-old: investigations are underway, starting with DNA testing, to establish whether the other newborn is also the son of Chiara and the boy of her age, the father of the child found on August 9.

Again. How is it possible that the pregnancy and the drama went unnoticed in such a small community? Twice, even, and also among Chiara's friends and relatives? And what are the reasons for what happened, given that the girl did not live as an outcast or in a degraded condition?
