Crushed in a watertight door in the Moby Porto Torres-Genoa ferry: maritime in intensive care
Serious accident at work, investigations are underway on the boat: if no anomalies emerge, it can regularly leave for Sardinia in the evening

A Moby ferry engine officer was seriously injured.
The accident occurred today on the Tommy ferry that was arriving in Genoa after leaving Porto Torres, the worker was crushed in a watertight door .
His condition is serious, he suffered the crushing of his pelvis and after being rescued by his colleagues and the ship's doctor he was transported in red code to the San Marino hospital in Genoa where he is hospitalized in intensive care .
The officer is a 43-year-old native of Mesagne, in the Brindisi area, but resident in Ischia. At the time of the rescue he was alert and conscious.
The Public Prosecutor has opened an investigation into the incident : the military of the Port Authority and the Rina certifiers who intervened on board to verify the functioning of the watertight doors did not find any anomalies.
The boat is not under seizure, if no irregularities or malfunctions emerge in the next few hours in the evening it should leave regularly for Porto Torres .
