Maxi operation against counterfeiting by the Guardia di Finanza of Turin which carried out a long series of searches also in Milan, Mantua, Teramo, Rome, Brindisi, Rimini, Trieste, Matera, Reggio Emilia, Bari, Foggia and Potenza.

Over 400,000 items including accessories, spare parts for cars and related packaging as well as 92 industrial machinery were seized. In particular, these are car and motorbike bodywork components such as fairings, mudguards, motor covers, seat covers and wiper blades, all bearing the brands of well-known car manufacturers, skillfully counterfeited. The production took place with plotters and printers used to reproduce the brands.

Twenty-five people under investigation for the production and possession of counterfeit products, receiving stolen goods and commercial fraud.
