A motorist suddenly reversed his direction, heading against the traffic along the A34 motorway, in Villesse (Gorizia), causing a head-on accident in which one person died and another was injured and is in serious condition.

It happened around 11.30.

According to what has been learned, the clash took place just before the square of the barrier that connects the A34 with the A4.

The fatal collision occurred a few tens of seconds after the U-turn.
