Car crashes into the guardrail: five boys on board, two are killed

Tragedy late yesterday evening near San Donà di Piave, in the province of Venice.

Two young people died and three others were injured in the crash of the Seat Ibiza on which they were traveling against the guardrail, on a stretch of asphalt that runs along the Piave embankment.

According to the first investigations, the car – in heavy rain – would have skidded, out of control, ending up violently on the side of the road. For two of the occupants, a boy and a girl in their twenties, there was nothing they could do.

The firefighters managed to extract the other three injured young people from the metal sheets, entrusted to the care of the Suem 118 doctors.
