Car against olive tree, 17 year old is killed. Five years ago the brother died in a car accident

Tragedy in the province of Bari.

A 17-year-old, Giovanni Luca Moschetti, was killed in a very serious road accident on provincial road 1, in Binetto.

The boy was in the car with three other young men of the same age, a 21-year-old was driving. The car, due to causes under investigation, went off the road and crashed into an olive tree, then overturning several times.

Giovanni, who was apparently sitting in the front seat, was thrown out and died instantly . The other 3 on board suffered minor injuries. The young man driving was arrested by the police for vehicular homicide: he was positive in the toxicological test . The car was impounded.

A tragedy within a tragedy: five years ago, Moschetti's brother died in another car accident.

"It really is a tragedy of unimaginable pain", Fiorenza Pascazio, mayor of Bitetto, told Ansa, expressing "closeness to the families of the people involved and above all to that of the young victim". The carabinieri of the investigative unit of the Modugno company are investigating the episode.
