Botulinum toxin in mousse: product recall triggered

Botulism alarm in Land brand salmon mousse, produced in Buchloe, Germany (Exquisa), distributed by Eurospin.

The Ministry of Health's website published a notice of product recall by the company "due to microbiological risk." The affected packages are 135-gram containers with an expiration date of May 20, 2026.

The reason for the recall, specifically, is the "possible presence of clostridia that produce botulinum toxin," which can be lethal.

If anyone has purchased a package, they should not consume it and can return it to the point of sale, where they will be refunded.
