The weather situation is improving in Tuscany, where more than 500 firefighters have been working for 24 hours to deal with the damage caused by bad weather: 430 interventions carried out in the provinces of Florence, Prato, Pisa and Livorno for rescue operations, flooding, landslides, static instability and the securing of dangerous trees.
The rescue system, strengthened with the retention of off-duty personnel, but also with teams specialized in combating aquatic risks and with divers from Liguria and Veneto, was in action in the morning especially in the province of Florence, in particular in the territories of Sesto Fiorentino, Campi Bisenzio, Vicchio, Fucecchio, Empoli, Rufina, Signa, Borgo San Lorenzo.
