An armored van on the A14 highway was attacked: nails, smoke bombs, and a car on fire.

An armored vehicle was robbed this morning around 6:30 a.m. along the A14 motorway, heading north, near Ortona, in the province of Chieti.

Patrols from the Pescara Police Coa, firefighters and 118 intervened on site. The amount of the loot is currently unknown.

The intruders left numerous nails, smoke bombs, and at least a couple of torched vehicles on the road. It's currently unclear whether any weapons were used.
