A 43-year-old American tourist died last night after falling from the balcony of a hotel in the bay of Paraggi, near Portofino, where he was spending the holidays with his wife. The man, according to what was reconstructed, was stuck on the terrace and tried to lower himself to the ground. So, perhaps due to the collapse of a tile, the three-meter flight that caused death instantly.

The 118 health workers and the carabinieri intervened on the spot.

THE RECONSTRUCTION - According to what has been reconstructed, the man yesterday returned to the hotel after a trip and was spending the evening on the balcony of the hotel, in the company of his wife. At one point the two decided to go back into the room but they would have noticed that the French window had closed and could not be reopened. The two then tried to call for help and contact the lobby, but to no avail. At that point, the man climbed over a parapet and tried to descend from a height of about three meters.

It seems that a tile he was leaning on has given way causing him to lose his balance and causing him to fall. To cause death a severe trauma to the head.
