Social controversy around Daniela Santanchè, accused by a user of having skipped the line at the emergency room of Lido di Camaiore, in Tuscany, where many people had been waiting for hours, while she accompanied her partner for a check-up due to a severe illness head.

After the case broke out online, also taken up by many national newspapers, the competent ASL denied favoritism, specifying that the system of assigned codes had been respected.

Now comes the clarification of the Minister of Tourism: «What emerged on social networks and taken up by the newspapers regarding my person is absolutely false. It's not my habit to take advantage of a 'privileged' position, especially in a context such as a hospital".

"In fact, I did not skip any lines - says the minister - as has also already been confirmed by the ASL which also declared that the waiting time was in line with that of the other patients".

Santanchè then recounts that he accompanied his companion to the emergency room «following the normal procedures envisaged for everyone, moreover by parking outside the hospital. What happened - he notes - is really specious. I really can't get over the nastiness and deceit of people who are willing to use any situation to attack. As often happens, they made a big mistake," concludes the minister.
