A van full of young athletes overturns: the 12-year-old didn't make it
The boy, admitted to the Maggiore hospital in Novara, died during the night
The 12-year-old boy hospitalized in the Intensive Care Department of the Maggiore hospital in Novara died due to an accident on the A4 motorway .
It happened shortly after the Marcallo-Mesero tollbooth, in the Milanese area.
The young man was traveling with other members of a Novara youth sports club in a van, a Ford Transit used as a minibus, which was marching towards Turin and overturned in circumstances yet to be clarified.
The little boy died in the night. Four other wounded are hospitalized in the Magenta hospital.
At the scene of the accident, the helicopter rescue and two ambulances in addition to the Milan fire brigade intervened together with the Polstrada agents.
