The 15-year-old who last Thursday had left home in Padua was found dead this morning in the Brenta river, at the footbridge between the hamlets of Torre and Mortise. More or less in the same place where a few hours earlier his mobile phone had been recovered, the one from which he had sent an alarming message, via WhatsApp audio, to his ex-girlfriend saying: “Now I have to get out. I have some unfinished business with some people. I know I will die , I think so. Or if I don't die, I'll have serious injuries. But I think I will die ".
The police also confirmed the identity of the victim: on the spot, together with the police, the boy's father.
The body was in a point of the river corresponding to the center of the pedestrian walkway where the searches had been concentrated. No hypothesis is excluded.
