Luca Scuzzarella, preliminary hearing judge of the Lecce Court, has sent to trial a 44-year-old man from Torre Annunziata, resident in the province of Matera, accused of pretending to be a gynecologist and of having solicited, between July and October 2021, eighteen women between the ages of 20 and 40, sixteen of whom were residents of Salento.

He faces charges of attempted sexual assault, fraudulent acquisition of personal data, and usurpation of public office. The investigation began after a 24-year-old student from Lecce reported him.

After gaining possession of the victims' medical records, the man allegedly contacted them by phone, pretending to be a doctor, with the excuse of requesting further tests.

With this ploy he would have convinced them to perform acts of autoeroticism in front of the computer's webcam.
