Victim of sexual violence in broad daylight on the Milan-Bergamo train : it happened yesterday morning, Wednesday 5 April, to a 21-year-old girl.

Terrible moments for the young woman, who reported that she lost consciousness from the shock.

She was on the 24531 train that connects Varese to Milan and was approached by her tormentor, a 40-year-old, already in the underpass of the Porta Garibaldi station: she was asking for information on how to reach her boyfriend in Bergamo when the man, presumably a South American, he invited her to take that convoy .

The 21-year-old got on the train at 10.30, the same one that took the 40-year-old: she looked for other people on the train which was almost empty and she found the same man in front of her: " The terrible thing is that there was another passenger who , having sensed the situation, he left us alone ».

And precisely at that point the violence occurred: « He grabbed me and pulled me towards him, forcibly making me lie down between the seats, then he immobilized me and squeezed me between the window and a seat. Worst ten minutes of my life, I lost consciousness, when I got her back I screamed really loud and reacted by hitting him under the chin. Then I ran away and found the inspector, my survival instinct saved me ».

With the controller, the young woman reached the police and told everything, but the 40-year-old had already got off the train and the manhunt is still underway . The girl was then taken to the hospital in Treviglio (Bg) where she received the necessary treatment: she suffered injuries to her neck and wrists , she was also subjected to swabs to look for the attacker's DNA.
