The government is working to bring new support against the high bills caused by the increases in the price of energy, and to make "targeted corrections" to the Sostegni ter decree on the Superbonus, in particular to the regulation that limits the assignment of credits.

Specifically, the provision that will bring new aid to counter the rise in electricity and gas prices should be worth 4 billion euros (which will be added to the 9.5 already allocated from July) and, according to what is learned from sources close to Palazzo Chigi, there will be no budget variance.

It is not yet clear, however, what form the new supports will take.

The sum should come in part (1.5 billion) from the proceeds of auctions for the use of carbon dioxide, while another two and a half billion could be obtained through a financial mechanism (securitization) that would cut those heavy taxes (system charges ) not directly linked to consumption but which are paid for with the invoice. The package is currently being studied at Palazzo Chigi.

As for the Superbonus, the executive led by Prime Minister Mario Draghi is ready to eliminate the limits on credit transfers. The decision was taken after the pressing of the 5 Star Movement and the companies, which today took to the streets in Rome to protest against the rule that risks paralyzing the construction sector, with consequent job losses and construction sites shutdown. .

The two measures are expected to be launched by the Council of Ministers scheduled for next week and could also be part of a single decree.
