Same beach, same sea. New challenge. Fabio Pisacane's Cagliari team is officially born, having broken the ice at the "Crai Sport Center" in Assemini while awaiting the actual training camp, which will take place in Ponte di Legno, Lombardy, from Sunday until July 22nd.
The team has now reunited after nearly a month and a half of vacation . These three days on the island, before leaving, will serve primarily to complete the medical checks and athletic tests preparatory to the work that will then be carried out in the cool of Alta Val Camonica. Gaetano was the first to arrive in Asseminello at 5:05 PM, then everyone else followed one by one, all arriving by 7 PM for dinner . An overnight stay isn't mandatory; the meeting is tomorrow morning, again in Asseminello.
Leading the group is captain Pavoletti, who is preparing to begin his ninth and final season in the Rossoblu. His assistant Deiola will also be in his ninth season, having previously played for Spezia, Parma, Lecce, and Spezia again.
Clearly under the spotlight are Caprile, Adopo, and Piccoli, recently bought for €24 million. But also Gaetano, overlooked by the previous coach, Davide Nicola, and now central to Pisacane's project.
