From the Villa Devoto summit to absences at the Regional Council, in just a few hours: today's session was cancelled due to a lack of a quorum, and the opposition launched heavy attacks.
"What happened is shameful. There is no longer a majority," center-right representatives said in an impromptu press conference immediately after the chamber was called to its homes.
These criticisms, moreover, had already been raised before the meeting was even started. And this was in the wake of the Villa Devoto meeting, where it was confirmed that the long-awaited €750 million budget change would not be approved before mid-June, that is, after the municipal elections.
"The lack of a quorum demonstrates the center-left's political inability to address the serious problems plaguing Sardinia," declared FdI group leader Paolo Truzzu. "This is the legislature
"The least productive law in history, up to now no serious law has been produced to reform the system, the only three laws on which the majority focused have all been rejected and there continues to be an air of quarrelsomeness and internal conflict between the major parties of the majority that are blocking the work of the council", continues Truzzu, who also speaks of "total incompetence".
