The new talents of Sardinian craftsmanship network. Mattia and Patrizia, he from Dorgali, she from Sini, a small town in the province of Oristano, are two young people who have decided to invest in tradition to build their future.

Patrizia Atzori, twenty-six years old, graduated from the hotel institute, was a receptionist until the pandemic. Having grown up surrounded by the embroidery of the women of the family, she had chosen a secure job. The forced stop caused by Covid gave her the opportunity to stop and rediscover the art that had been passed down to her since she was a child. A decisive break, in which she decided to give up everything and dedicate herself to her true passion, specializing in the ancient embroidery of traditional shawls, but also focusing on the creation of objects and accessories embellished with her ornaments.

On 30 September and 1 October he will be in Dorgali, guest in Mattia Patteri's workshop, on the occasion of "Autunno in Barbagia". Mattia, in fact, in turn is a son of art, a goldsmith for three generations. At just six years old he began to learn the secrets of filigree, and after twenty-five years of apprenticeship in which he learned to make every type of Sardinian jewel, he decided to open his own workshop, creating classic and modern jewels. «I wanted this collaboration because Patrizia's story fascinated me – he says -, her courage in leaving security for uncertainty, in the name of a dream to be realized».
